Take no survivors! 😝 This “monkey” means war. || A cute little #clay #sculpture at the #orchidgarden of the #RoyalFloraRatchapruek Park in #ChiangMai, #Thailand. #travel
Catch me if you can. || In honor of my return to #inlelake, meet the famous one-legged rowers: one foot on the oar & one hand on the fish net. (Admittedly, this pose was exaggerated for the tourists. Then again, support local—& sustainable—tourism.) #shanstate #myanmar #travel #nofilter #iphoneonlyphotography #latergram
Welcome to #work. When you’ve got views like this, it makes the fact that you have an overdue report sliiiiiiiiightly less daunting (I lie, but we-ll... 😜). #inlelake #shanstate #myanmar #travel #sky #clouds #view #hdr
Not quite a travel photo, but thought the edit was too cool not to share. A bit of #photomanipulation with a #cat. Simba meets Puss-in-Boots, forest-version. 😜 (Another exception: This photo was taken with a Fujifilm X-T1, but edited on the iPhone.)
Sticks and #stones may break my bones, but your #water could never hurt me. || At the #heartofmyanmar, where the #IrrawaddyRiver (the lifeline of #Myanmar) begins after two sisters have joined to form it. There are various pebbles piled like this one along the shore. I’m uncertain if Myanmar’s #Buddhist thinks similarly, but the meaning I know is to help children who have died and been punished (for dying before their parents) to pile stones for eternity. #travel #Myitkyina #KachinState
Just around the riverbend. || The #IrrawaddyRiver and where the #Myitsone meets it. #panorama #blackandwhite #landscape #mountains #rivers #travel #Myitkyina #Myanmar
